22-for-22 Candle Lighting for Veteran Suicide Awareness November 1

Each day 22 Veterans lose their lives to suicide.  The Military Friends 22-for-22 campaign pledges to engage military families, students and community members in 22 events in the next year to combat the growing epidemic of suicide.  This campaign is founded in conjunction with families impacted by suicide, members of the Massachusetts National Guard, and mental health advocates and service providers.

22-for-22 Candle Lighting for Veteran Suicide Awareness

Monday, November 11th at 2200 hours, Nationwide

(Candle pick-up from 10:30am-1:00pm outside Park Street T-Station)

All are encouraged to light a candle this Veterans Day at 2200 hours (10:00pm) in memory of those lost to the hidden wounds of war and as symbol of commitment to breaking the silence surrounding suicide.
