Operation Santa-Massachusetts

This year the Ahern Family Charitable Foundation will again partner with the Military Friends Foundation to support “Operation Santa-Massachusetts”, a program that supports children of Fallen Heroes and children of deployed National Guard Members and Reservists.

Operation Santa will provide gift cards to these special kids during the holiday season. All proceeds for the Ahern Family Charitable Foundation 2012 Army-Navy Luncheon will benefit Operation Santa.

The Army-Navy luncheon will take place on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 1pm at the Scoreboard Sports Bar & Grill in Woburn. Watch the rivalry of the Army Navy Football game, enjoy great food, free billiards and receive a commemorative challenge coin (first 500 at door). Check out our live & silent auction items, raffle prizes and special treats for the kids! Come meet local celebs and more! Help us bring a little extra Christmas cheer to these very deserving kids who have sacrificed so much! Tickets will be available online at www.ahernfoundation.org on Veterans Day, Nov. 11!

Operation Santa-Massachusetts will recognize children from Massachusetts ages 3-16 who have a parent/step-parent/guardian/sibling currently deployed with the National Guard or Reserve and children who have lost a parent in connection with the Iraq/Afghanistan wars.

Please note that registration forms will only be accepted through December 14, 2012. Although it is our hope to distribute a holiday gift card to all Massachusetts children (ages 3-16) in Massachusetts who have a parent/step-parent/guardian from Massachusetts who is currently deployed (or has been deployed under Title 10 in 2012) with the National Guard and Reserve and children who have lost a parent in the Afghanistan/Iraq wars, we will fulfill the requests on a first-come, first-served basis based upon the amount of funds available. If funding is not sufficient to provide a gift to each child, families of the children that will not receive a gift will be notified by email before December 15. Please fill out a separate application from each child in your family. The gift card will be sent in the child’s name to the child’s address as listed below.
