Massachusetts Cares! Grant (Pilot Program)

The Military Friends Foundation is pleased to announce the Massachusetts CARES! Grant, a new pilot program designed to recognize families of deployed Massachusetts National Guard Members and Reservists. The program will provide $200 grants to deployed E-7s and below who, like so many, face financial challenges during a deployment.

The family of grant recipient SPC Moses Lynn, Massachusetts Army National Guard (pictured above with his Mother, Susan Lynn) is grateful for financial support from Massachusetts Citizens.

“For me, as a military mom, the Massachusetts CARES! Fund is a tremendous help in taking care of some of my son’s financial responsibilities while he’s away. This helps take care of one less bill he has to worry about, so that when he does return, in January, 2011, his finances will be on track.” – Susan Lynn

Qualfied applicants may apply once every 12 months he/she remains activated. Additional details on eligibility are available for download:
